Jane Freeman

Jane is an urban planner with experience working in both the local government and private sectors. She has particular expertise in the preparation of land use strategies and implementation through planning controls.

Prior to joining Architectus in 2012 Jane worked in the City Plan Development Unit (City Strategy and Design) at the City of Sydney Council. While at the City, she was involved in reviewing existing planning controls and preparing the City's new comprehensive local environmental plan and development control plan, known as the ‘City Plan'. Jane's focus was the strategic review of the planning controls for the renewal areas in the southern areas of the City, including Green Square.
