Karl Eckermann

Karl Eckermann has 20 years’ experience in delivering significant architectural projects in Australia and overseas. Karl has particular expertise in delivering large budget facilities with specialist technical performance requirements, intensive end user involvement (during all project stages), unique brief requirements, and complex client group structures. Project typologies encompass tertiary and secondary education, mental health care, high end residential, commercial office facilities, community / interpretive centres, and urban design master planning. Projects have been successfully delivered under a variety of design and construct, managing contract, public private partnership, and traditional procurement methods.

Karl has recently joined the Architectus team as a Principal. Karl’s focus will initially be toward design team leadership on current large scale projects such as 443 Queen Street in Brisbane. With an extensive background in delivering high quality facilities for tertiary institutions, Karl’s primary business development ambition is to grow the Architectus education profile and portfolio in Australia and surrounding tropical regions.
