We are an integrated architecture and urbanism practice collaborating on some of the most interesting and significant projects in Aotearoa New Zealand. From our Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington studios, we work in a stimulating, collegial environment, sharing a wide array of skills and interests.
We are ideas-led, applying integrated design and a deep knowledge of historical precedent to create elegant, sustainable architecture and urban places. This approach is supported by rigorous analysis and creative development using industry-leading digital and BIM tools, as well as traditional model-making and sketch processes.
Working across a wide variety of projects and sectors, our people can pursue their interests and passions. We support them to take on additional roles in the practice and within the wider industry, continuing professional development, pathways to registration, and extramural study. Our graduate mentorship programme provides excellent early experiences and sets a strong foundation for professional life. Our goal is to help people thrive intellectually and professionally, while maintaining a healthy work–life balance.
We are dedicated to designing spaces and places for all – environments that nurture and grow their communities, that are inspirational to work, learn and live in. To fulfill this vision, our team needs to be a microcosm of our community. From the promotion of women and under-represented peoples through to equal pay and flexible hours, we do everything we can to provide an environment that welcomes difference, life stages and family responsibilities.
Māori and Pasifika students
One of our priorities is to grow the number of Māori and Pasifika voices in our profession. As such, we have established and endowed the Rewi Thompson Undergraduate Scholarship with the University of Auckland to support students of Māori descent with their architectural studies.
If you like what we do and would like to join a progressive and creative team, we would love to talk to you.
