Associate Principals
Kitty has made significant contributions to a variety of education and housing projects. Including playing key roles in the multi-award winning The Pā Project for the University of Waikato. Having also worked on a number of social housing developments, Kitty has built strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Kitty’s commitment to her work, her proactive approach and willingness to embrace new challenges and her rapport with clients has made her an invaluable asset to our team. We also commend her important contributions to Architecture + Women and the Diversity Agenda. Kitty’s contribution to the profession was recognised earlier this year with a NZIA fellowship.
David is an accomplished architect and team leader with over 20 years’ experience across a wide range of large scale project types in particular in aviation, transportation, infrastructure and commercial. He has a proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects and building strong relationships with clients and collaborators. Recent work has seen David achieve innovative outcomes and improved user experience for a clients project. He is well respected by clients and within project teams for his detailed, methodical approach and vast knowledge.
Associates and Senior Associates
Kelly has a track record of delivering large commercial, residential, and educational projects internationally. Promoted to Associate in 2021, Kelly has since consistently demonstrated his adaptability, problem-solving skills, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of his work.
Kelly has played a pivotal role in key projects, including The NZIA award winning Tuhiraki AgResearch workplace and research facility. His leadership on projects highlights his ability to navigate complex design and construction processes while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Kelly’s promotion to Senior Associate reflects his dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes and his invaluable contributions to the Architectus team.
James broad range of knowledge and experience across various project types, combined with his strong design, technical, and documentation skills, have made him a valuable asset to our team. James’ exceptional organizational abilities ensure that projects are always well-planned and executed efficiently.
James has made significant contributions to a number of large developments and his recent leadership in the delivery of Catalina Bay Apartments at Hobsonville illustrates the commitment to excellence and attention to detail that James is known for. His promotion to Associate is well deserved.
