Construction starts on Catalina Bay Apartments

Construction of the Catalina Bay Apartments is officially underway at Hobsonville Point, Tāmaki Makaurau. As part of the project team, Architectus was delighted to be part of the ground breaking celebration earlier this month.

Catalina Bay Apartments is the first residential development to be realised in the Catalina Bay masterplan. It comprises 73 apartments over 13-levels and nine townhouses, the ‘Wharf Terraces’. The apartments and townhouses are organised such that all units have panoramic views and natural light. The townhouses activate the ground plane and sleeve the carpark behind, while the apartment elements sit atop the podium and offer a variety of layouts. The scheme is intended to act as the residential fulcrum about which the balance of the masterplan will be developed.

Completion of the apartments is expected early-mid 2024.
