Chris joined Architectus in 2014 after emigrating from the UK. He has over 15 years’ experience in both the UK and New Zealand where he has worked on a variety of building typologies, scales and constructions. His work has included new build, refurbishment and restoration projects with both complex and sensitive issues.

Chris’ projects span a variety of sectors; aviation, commercial, mixed use and tertiary education. He has demonstrated the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders striving to provide a successful outcome for all parties. He has led several project teams, working closely with consultants, contractors and clients from concept design through to on-site delivery. His ability to visualise and map a solution ensures that he maintains effective and efficient management of both his time and that of the team.

Chris regularly surpasses clients’ expectations and delivers a consistently high level of design, blending form and function seamlessly to enhance our built environment. He has demonstrated this through delivery of the new village centre at Long Bay and a new commercial office building within the Wynyard Quarter in Auckland.
