Chris joined Architectus in 2014 after emigrating with his whānau from the UK, with over 20 years’ practicing in both Aotearoa and Internationally. His experience encompasses a variety of building and construction typologies, including new build, refurbishment and restoration projects with both complex and sensitive issues.

Chris’ projects span a range of sectors including, residential, aviation, commercial, mixed-use and tertiary education. He consistently demonstrates the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders striving to provide successful outcomes for all parties. He has led several large project teams, working closely with consultants, contractors and clients from concept through to on-site delivery.

Chris is focused on a high level of design, blending form and function seamlessly to enhance our built environment. He is passionate about sustainability and strives to embed it into the heart of every project. Looking for innovative approaches to designing spaces in which we live and work is key to his kaupapa.
