James has over 20 years’ experience in New Zealand and Australia across a wide range of projects. He combines a broad range of experience in the design and implementation of projects ranging from multi-residential to infrastructure including significant work in the institutional and tertiary sector.
James’ experience working with a variety of client organisations has provided him with extensive experience in briefing and design development, master planning, client group liaison, documentation and coordination of the technical consultant inputs.
He has demonstrated architectural leadership on a number of significant projects including the recently completed B302 Science Centre and the New Lynn Transit-Oriented Development. James has demonstrated an ability to marry various stakeholder objectives and requirements with the overarching aspiration for a sustainable and robust outcome that enhances and contributes positively to the built environment.
James has been an invited critic at universities in Australia and New Zealand and is currently the New Zealand Institute of Architects representative on the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board.
