Paul studied at Auckland University graduating in 1998 with honours. He then travelled overseas gaining a position at Pascall + Watson in London and spent five years working on large infrastructure projects including the expansion of Heathrow airport. Paul also worked on a private air terminal in Abu Dhabi, a job won through a design competition.

Paul then spent time with Hassell in Sydney on a coastal regeneration project at Darwin Cove before returning to New Zealand and settling in Wanaka. Here Paul worked as project architect on a range of residential and commercial commissions.

Since joining Architectus Paul has played a key role in the design and delivery of a number of educational and aviation projects.
