Thalea Carruthers

Thalea joined Architectus in 2019 as an experienced marketing professional and was appointed an Associate in 2021. With over 15 years’ marketing experience in the architectural industry, she has worked for architectural practices such as Warren and Mahoney in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland and Woodhead in Sydney.

As Marketing & Business Development Manager, Thalea works closely and collaboratively with practice leaders and architects to define and implement business development strategies, generating leads, planning, writing, managing and delivering quality tender documentations and presentations with a client-centric approach. She is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies that align with those of the business, overseeing branding, communication, employee engagement and digital platforms.

Her experience with creative, design driven organisations, means she understands the value of good design and has a people-focused approach.
