The Pā receives Prime Minister’s support
Te Puhi Ariki Ngā Wai Hono i te Pō, daughter of King Tūheitia, accompanied by the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, came to Te Whare Wananga o Waikato yesterday (17/10/19) for the ground breaking and embedding of the Mauri for the new University Marae. Work is due to start shortly on The Pā project which will accommodate a new student hub, the Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies and the Office of the Vice Chancellor alongside the new Marae. This project is being undertaken by Architectus together with Jasmax, designTRIBE and Wraight + Associates Ltd.
