The Space Between: Urban Place, Public Spaces & Tall Buildings
Architectus – as a member of the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) – has been organising CTBUH walking tours in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney for the last few years.
These walking tours take place in cities around the globe and participants are live-tweeting pictures and videos using the twitter hash tag #CTBUHwalks. Insights gained from these tours have fed into a publication (technical guide) that is now available for purchase.
The Space Between: Urban Places, Public Spaces & Tall Buildings is the product of years of research by the CTBUH Urban Habitat/Urban Design Committee, which was formed to study the role of tall buildings within a city and how those tall buildings affect the quality of life for those that live or work within them.
