Working closely with Transport for NSW and other stakeholders, we have prepared a comprehensive planning and urban design framework to support a State Significant Precinct (SSP) rezoning that will renew Sydney’s Central Precinct.

Our work on this significant project includes advisory on private proposals for sites located at Lee Street and Railway Square, concept design for feasibility, and preparation of a structure plan and reference master plan to guide opportunities for over rail renewal, adaptive reuse of the Sydney Terminal Building and the introduction of new cross corridor connections, public domain and open space.

Comprising land in and around Central Station transport interchange that spans an area of 24 hectares of under-utilised land between Goulburn and Cleveland Streets, Central Precinct will be a new destination for the local, metropolitan, regional and global community. It will draw on the character and significant heritage within Central Precinct and the surrounding suburbs to foster a unique and vibrant urban place providing space for jobs in innovation and technology, improved connections with surrounding areas, new and improved public spaces and social infrastructure to support the community.

The proposed Structure Plan and key city-shaping moves provides an initial look at what could be achieved through the renewal of Central Precinct.
